I have been in the massage therapy business for nine years, and officially being National Holistic Institute's youngest student to have ever attended in Emeryville, California. As a Massage Therapist and Health Educator, I have been certified since 2005 with over 720 hours. I am licensed in the city of Brentwood California, and with insured the AMTA
Dedicated to my clients' holistic needs, I continuously take classes, workshops, and seminars to learn new techniques for healing the body, mind, and spirit. As my understanding of the body grew, so did my passion to heal others. Throughout my years of practice, I have made a few tricks of my own. Having almost a decade of working experience along side chiropractors, physical therapist, personal trainers, nutritionists, and other health practitioners, I've learned to listen to my clients words and to their bodies reaction to the therapy.
I continue to educate myself on the human anatomy and physiology, to get a better understanding of its functions and how it naturally repairs itself. My fascination with the power of healing has only grown as I get a deeper understanding of the human body. I now use my knowledge of science and spirituality to facilitate your ability to naturally heal yourself. The human body is an amazing machine. People underestimate how powerful it truly is with the proper tools and information. My years of massage practice have proven to me that pain and stress do not have to be forever.
Regardless the adjectives we assign to massage (rejuvenating, therapeutic, pampering) or the reasons we seek it out (Pain management, stress relief, luxurious treat); massage therapy can be a powerfully al in your health care regimen.×

I became interested in massage therapy after I was injured at work. I had sciatica and between my chiropractor and his massage therapist, the healing that took place for me was profound. Around this same time, my wife (we are now divorced) developed fibromyalgia. To help her with the pain, I gave her a massage every day for 8 years. This experience taught me so much about how the human body responds to massage and how healing can take place.
I was inspired to go to school and get licensed in order to help others who are on their own journey to wellness. With my experience and the training I have as a professional therapist and somatic educator, what I offer to my clients is a holistic (and Whole Person) approach to healing and transformation as my focus. I specialize in deep tissue massage and neuromuscular therapy, and Shiatsu massage (acupressure).
I am very excited to be currently attending a 3 year training program with Hanna Somatic Education in Novato, CA, which is a system that teaches voluntary control of the neuromuscular system. My current clients have received some great results from the Somatic exercises they have learned. To me, the healing nature of massage is something that all of us can benefit from, especially in this fast-paced (and often stressful) technological society. From personal experience, I have found health and healing from massage. And now with the addition of Hanna Somatics to my own life and practice, I see that our bodies have unlimited potential for healing and balance. My desire is to share this knowledge with my clients and empower them to find the most freedom in their bodies.×

Before I became a massage therapist, I was a full time student athlete. I played basketball for Saddleback College in Mission Viejo. I was always interested in massaging. Especially after getting hit by a drunk driver. Part of my physical therapy and recovery was weekly massage sessions. After seeing positive relief, I wanted to make an impact on others that were once hurting like me.
I finished massage therapy school at Healing Hands in 2013, quickly obtaining a position at a chiropractic office. I enjoy seeing my clients walk out less stressed, less frustrated, and most of all, out of pain.×
